9News recently asked Swingle Lawn and Tree Care to share expert tips on how residents can keep their Colorado lawns green while facing water restrictions in a drought year. Swingle President, John Gibson, had a bit of fun with news anchor Mark Koebrich and shared a few laughs when discussing rabbit droppings and the issues they pose to our Colorado lawns.

Denver Water has declared a Stage 2 drought and instituted mandatory two-day-a-week water restrictions as of April 1, 2013. Watering is prohibited between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Denver Water customers are required to follow the following schedules based on their property address number:
Single-family residential properties with ODD-numbered addresses: Saturday and Wednesday
Single-family residential properties with
EVEN-numbered addresses: Sunday and Thursday
All others (multi-family, HOA’s, commercial, industrial, government, etc.): Tuesday and Friday
