A bond created throughout the past decade, Swingle Lawn, Tree and Landscape Care is proud to continue donating tree care services to Denver Botanic Gardens. Swingle exclusively adopted the Elm tree residing in front of Ruth Porter Waring House, around 2004. Most recently, Swingle’s team worked to prune the tree in preparation for spring.
The Elm tree is tended to through various services such as Dutch Elm Disease Prevention, European Elm Scale Control, Pruning, and a yearly evaluation. All services help the Elm to live a long, healthy life.
Pruning services can require additional help to provide a safe environment for all. Swingle has been lucky enough to partner up with National Barricade in the adoption of the Elm tree to provide proper closure of street lanes and parking spaces. We are happy to be able to improve the wellbeing of the tree and protecting those in the area during the time of work.
The next time you find yourself driving down York Street past the Denver Botanical Gardens, be sure to safely look out your window to see the beautiful Century Old Elm in full bloom this season!
