Since 1998, the PLANET Academic Excellence Foundation (AEF) has awarded scholarships each year to students enrolled in landscape contracting and horticulture programs at two-year and four-year colleges and universities across the country.
Isaac Lawson was the recipient of the Swingle/Tom Tolkacz Family Scholarship for 2013. Isaac is a student at Ozark Technical Community College in Missouri and received $1,000 to toward his education.
Swingle became a PLANET AEF Ambassador company in 2012. PLANET AEF was created to help fund the education of green industry students who will become the future leaders of the industry.
