Swingle Donates Lawn and Tree Care Services to Fort Collins Historical Foundation

Swingle is proud to continue to donate our lawn care, tree care and landscape care services to the Poudre Landmarks Foundation in Fort Collins, Colorado. By donating our Colorado lawn, tree and landscape care services, the Fort Collns foundation is able focus their budget on other priorities. We have been supporting this educational non-profit for the last six years.

Our most recent project at the 1882 Water Works location site was to send out Jeremy and Evan to prune trees that surround the visitor parking lot. Some of the branches were actually in danger of falling, so we were glad to be able to improve visitor safety and the health of the trees.

Poudre Landmarks Foundation works to preserve the cultural heritage of the Fort Collins area. Poudre Landmarks Foundation accomplishes this through the care and management of Historic Landmark sites owned by the City of Fort Collins and by providing educational programs and events focused on early life in the region.

The other cornerstone of the Poudre Valley Landmark Foundation is the Avery House. This home was built in 1879 and was the residence of Franklin and Sara Avery and their three children. The sandstone home includes a carriage house, large yard, gazebo, and fountain. The Avery House is located on corner of Mountain Avenue and South Meridian Street in Old Town Fort Collins.

Swingle provides lawn care, tree service and professional Christmas lighting installation for Fort Collins & Northern Colorado. Our northern Colorado office is 1805 E Lincoln Ave, Fort Collins, Colorado. (970) 221-1287
