Swingle Fort Collins Tree Crews Volunteer Day of Service at Colorado’s Oldest Operating Cemetery

Posted on: April 23rd, 2013

Swingle Volunteers Fort Collins, Colorado Lawn Care & Tree Service

Over the weekend, Swingle crews worked hard tree pruning, removing trees, and planting trees at the historic Riverside Cemetery in Brighton, CO. Riverside was established in 1876 and is Colorado’s oldest operating cemetery, so it’s only natural that some of the trees required tree trimming . The trees that were removed were either dead or dying and posed a potential safety hazard in addition to being eyesores. “Our efforts will hopefully improve the experience for visitors of this historic Colorado site”, said Tom Lynch, Swingle’s Fort Collin’s Branch Manager. Swingle frequently volunteers and participates in support of our local community. This event was part of CALCP’s (Colorado Association of Lawn Care Professionals) 5th annual day of service, in which Swingle donates each year.

Swingle provides lawn care, tree service and professional Christmas lighting installation for Fort Collins & Northern Colorado. Our northern Colorado office is 1805 E Lincoln Ave, Fort Collins, Colorado. (970) 221-1287
