Pathologist Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award
Having raised more than $100,000 over a sixteen year period while riding in STIHL’s Tour des Trees annual cycling event, Steve Geist, Swingle’s world renowned Plant Pathologist, was honored with the Tree Fund’s Lifetime Achievement Award. “Steve’s commitment to tree research, education, and awareness is unparalleled”, said Swingle President John Gibson.
Over Steve’s admirable career, he’s actively participated in a number of industry and academic organizations, many times on the board or in leadership positions. If you could see all the awards Steve has received, you wouldn’t think he’d be the humble man he is.
