Professional tree climbing competitions are held all over the world and most recently in Denver! Climbing competitions allow for climbers to show off their skills and mimics working conditions climbers would generally face in the field. Swingle was proud to sponsor the 2014 Rocky Mountain Chapter ISA Tree Climbing Competition on Saturday September 26, 2014 at City Park in Denver, Colorado. Swingle had three climbers participate in the event this year; Nick Gonzales, Keith Perry and Deacon Maloney all competed. Swingle’s climbers finished the competition as follows: Keith Perry placed 39th, Deacon Maloney placed 12th and Nick Gonzales place 6th. Highlighted at this year’s completion was Nick Gonzales’s 3rd place finish in the Work Climb, Throwline, and Speed Climb. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our three climbers!
