If you are like most Coloradans you waited until after Mother’s Day to start digging in the garden. Mother’s Day weekend, Swingle was excited to be a continuing sponsor this year of the Denver Botanic Gardens Spring Plant Sale & support one of Denver’s most beautiful outdoor spaces. The sale offered plants carefully selected for the Rocky Mountain region. It started on Friday, May 9, 2014 and ran through Saturday, May 10th.
Swingle spoke with many visitors answering questions about lawn and tree care. We also handed out wildflower seeds to be planted in Colorado gardens. Visitors were able to speak with the Gardens’ renowned horticulturist to ask questions bout the best plants for their gardens. Smart-water plants, perennials, annuals, vegetable & fruit plants were purchased by all!
Swingle had a great time being at the Denver Botanic Gardens and enjoyed talking to everyone. If you missed the event this year be sure to join us next year, as we always love seeing new faces and you wont want to miss out on the plant selection!
