Swingle is excited to announce that our team member, Paul Koenning, received the Fortier Excellence in Education Scholarship from The Desert Green Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to a student who is focusing on horticulture, agronomy, architectural, or agriculture. The award allows the student to attend the annual Desert Green conference free of charge including travel and lodging from November 6-7, 2014. The conference is educationally based and this year will be focusing on water conservation and sustainable turf and landscapes for the arid southwest. There will also be additional classes offered such as pest management, golf and sports turf management and a tree climber course available to attendees. Congrats to Paul on the scholarship and we hope you enjoy the conference!
