Experience The Polar Express Train Ride
When: November 12 – December 23, 2015
Where: Colorado Railroad Museum
Embrace the holiday season with the magic of The Polar Express Train Ride. Enjoy a full re-enactment from start to finish as you make your way to the North Pole to pick up Santa. This memorable train ride includes cookies and a souvenir mug for a lasting holiday memory.

 

The Glow Holiday Celebration and Evening Parade
When: November 27 – 29, 2015
Where: Estes Park
The official beginning to the Christmas season in Estes Park begins the day after Thanksgiving. During the afternoon, enjoy pony rides, hayrides and festive carolers throughout the downtown area. A 45-minute parade tops off the night with a lighting ceremony, floats and of course a visit from Santa!

 

Blossoms of Light
When: November 27 – January 2
Where: Denver Botanic Gardens
Enjoy a family friendly annual event at Denver Botanic Gardens. Take a walk around the gardens while enjoying thousands of twinkling lights designed and installed by Swingle. Warm festive drinks and tasty treats will also be available.

Mile High United Way Turkey Trot
When: November 27
Where: Washington Park
Start your Thanksgiving Day off with a little exercise by running in the 41st Annual Mile High United Way Turkey Trot. The race takes place in Denver’s scenic Washington Park and hosts over 10,000 participants yearly. After the race make sure to check out the finish village for a number of fun booths and other activities.

 

Downtown Denver Grand Illumination
When: November 27
Where: Downtown Denver
Watch the city light up during Downtown Denver’s Grand Illumination. Thousands of sparkling lights will light up historical buildings throughout the heart of Lower Downtown. Throughout the event sing along to the Jingle Singers as they play the pianos on the 16th Street Mall.

Where: Fort Collins
